You have entered the web site of Brent Pearce. I build personal web sites and web sites for small businesses. This site contains samples of my work. I DO NOT do this as a business but as a way to help my family and freinds obtain a web presence. I will deal in trade if the product is right.

Site Portfolio

Lee & Leon Pearce  (My Parent's site)
This is the first site I created outside of my state job. It was originally built to announce my mother and father's 50th wedding aniversary. It grew into a family site with pictures and abbreviated family tree.

Javier López Barbosa
This is the second site I built outside of my state job. How this came about was through my son Christopher, four years old at the time, and his friend, Andres, from day care. Andres's father is Javier and he was having an Opening Reception at the gallery, Canyon Road Conemporary Art, Inc., and he left an invitation for the opening in Christopher's file. This little light went on in the gray matter of my head and I proposed to Javier that I build him a website to display his art. He accepted my offer and I built him the site.

Jakki Kouffman
This site came about through a co-worker with my state job. He recomended me to Jakki's husband who worked with us as well and Jakki and her husband got in touch with me and I said sure. This site is my first attempt at building pages with frames and I learned a lot with this site. This site came out really nice and Jakki tells me that it's really helped her in her work and in displaying her art and her teaching schedule.

Permaculture Credit Union
This site came about through a neighbor who needed help re-designing the website at his credit union. He is the CEO of this small but growing credit union and asked me to help re-design their site after he found out I did this sort of work. It's a rather simple site which uses some dynamic navication for the drop down menus. I also included a "How may we help you?" drop down list.

Canyon Road Contemporary Art, Inc.
This site was created for the gallery because the owners, Bob and Debbie are groovy people and I offered up my services when they told me that they were ready to have a web presence. The site contains several different artists and contains tons of images of their art. There is some really great pieces of art displayed on this site. The site is very simple in design using 2 frames and offers room to grow.

The Office of the State Engineer
(This site is the site I maintain in my State job)
This site was designed by committee between our Public Information Office, and by a contractor with technical oversite by myself and a few others in our IT Development Section. I will not take credit for it's design, however the maintenance and many enhancements of this site have been my work.

New Mexico Governor's Drought Task Force
(This site is another site I maintain in my State job)
This is my design with ideas from a co-worker, Dawn Matson, who no longer works with the agency. It's very simple and is updated periodically.

New Mexico Acequia Commission
(This site is another site I maintain in my State job)
This is my design. It's very simple and is updated periodically.

New Mexico Water Conservation Alliance
(This site is another site I created in my State job)
This site was started through the OSE's Water Conservation Program in conjunction with the New Mexico State University's Water Resource Research Institute. I created the homepage and a few other pages then passed the maintenance wand off to WRRI. The design idea came from a flyer of the Water Conservation Alliance.

Mary Helen Follingstad  (Infinity Art)
This site was also for a co-worker from my state job. This site had tons of images and took a considerable amount of time putting it together. I no longer maintain this site.

Sites in test or other sample sites.

B & B Wood Whatnots
This site was a start to a site for my cousin who lives in Nevada. He does these beautiful wood carved pieces and was looking for a media to distribute his work. Because of family health issues this site was put on hold.

Cub Scouts Pack 838
This site was going to be for my son's Cub Scout pack but didn't really ever take off. My son's interest in basketball seemed to stifle this dream. It would have been a nice little site.

Eddie's Pizza
This was another prototype that didn't take off. It was an idea I had for another one of Christopher's friend's parents. They decided against a site at the time I built this prototype. It has some code in it that was pretty cool but becomes almost obnoxious after a while. It has six trailing pizzas that follow your mouse around the screen.
