Raj bansis, Dhimals, Satars, and Meches People

These are also indigenous people of the Terai, residing between the Koshi and Mechi rivers. They resemble some of the Mongoloid people in the northern mountains in many ways, and have their own language. Although farming is their main source of livelihood, they are also skilled hunters and fishermen. These groups are less educated and are exploited by other people.
