Peace Corps Nepal has been a part of Peace Corps since its second year of existence (1961). These days there are roughly 150 peace corps volunteers in the country at any given time. Several different programs are ongoing including fields in drinking water, soil conservation, nursing, community developement, urban development, forestry, fisheries, and others. Sometimes certain programs are terminated and other begun.
