How to Join the University Chorus

The University Chorus is administered as a class at the University of New Mexico during the Fall and Spring semesters. One must register through normal University channels in order to become a member of the Chorus. This can be done in one of two ways:

• as a for-credit course offered by the Music Department or as a
• non-credit course through the Department of Continuing Education.

As with any other University class, Chorus members pay the usual tuition and purchase their own music each semester.

The total enrollment in the class is capped at 140.

The Chorus rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30 PM in the Kurt Frederick Rehearsal Hall in the Fine Arts Center of the University campus during the academic semesters.

Continuing Ed registration usually opens in late July for the Fall semester and in early December for the Spring semester.
