JUDITH H. STEIN, Senior Consultant

Ms. Stein is a business strategy, organizational development, and quality management consultant. She has developed and applied data mining techniques as a precursor diagnostic to focus management attention and organizational efforts on the most highly leveraged areas of cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and/or quality improvement. She then works with the organization to realize the benefits through guiding internal teams through a problem solving/process improvement methodology using this data and other tools.

Ms. Stein has also developed and used process models or simulations to aid in the development of chemical process control systems, and in the improvement of the business process flow for clients in the distribution business. The process understanding gained from these models forms the basis of a client team based improvement initiative, led by Ms. Stein or process improvement facilitators.

Her clients include the United States Postal Service, Chevron, Los Alamos National Laboratory, JC Penney Data Processing Operations and Technical Support, Marshalls, and numerous healthcare provider organizations.

Ms. Stein earned her BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland in 1977, and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business in 1985.
