TERRY DUNN, Senior Consultant, CEO and Founder of Assuratech, Inc

Terry Dunn serves as CEO and Founder of Assuratech, Inc., the latest spin-off company of the complexity science authority, Complexica, Inc.

Assuratech is a Risk Assessment, Forecasting and Advisory company providing the Insurance and Financial Services Industries with Adaptive, Intelligent, Software Systems and Strategic Business Simulators (Biz-Sims) for the purpose of Business-Risk Assessment, Strategic-Decision Making and Management Training.

Mr. Dunn began his career in the insurance industry over 30 years ago at Manulife Financial. At the age of 29, he became one of the youngest senior executives appointed in the history of this global financial service firms. During his tenure with the company, he built and managed operations in over 5 locations, where his operations consistently performed at the highest levels, both company-wide and within the industry.

Following retirement from Manulife, and continuing his insurance industry career, Terry joined the reinsurance direct marketing company, Remark USA as President where he streamlined operations, opened new markets, and built profitability to unprecedented levels.

Subsequent to his second retirement and locating in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Mr. Dunn founded the Jonathan Institute in 1998. The Jonathan Institute provides high performance training services to managers, entrepreneurs, professionals, and sales and marketing executives.

He has been a frequent contributor to numerous articles and publications including the Essence of Excellence and Significant Trends in Agency Management. Active in many insurance industry associations and professional societies, he holds a lifetime membership on the National Directors Council of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, an organization of more than 30,000 Financial Service Professionals.

Terry holds a Masters Degree in the Science of Financial Services from the American College and has earned professional designations as a Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant.
