CommodiCast utilizes complexity science and data mining techniques to develop highly accurate commodity price forecasts for the development of mechanical trading systems and commodity risk management strategies.

CommodiCast's objective is to be the preferred Commodity Price Forecasting and (soon) Commodity Trading Advisor company.

CommodiCast is a spin-off / joint venture of Complexica and BiosGroup, headed by Kelly Myers. Complexica specializes in complexity science and has expertise in technologies that are applicable to forecasting commodity prices. BiosGroup specializes in applying complexity science principles to business problems. Complexica has built, as a subcontractor to BiosGroup, a commodity lumber price forecasting tool that has significantly better performance than commercial forecasts. The intellectual property and expertise for the forecasting of commodity prices has been transferred to CommodiCast.
