I am in charge of teaching student interns at Complexica.
I taught math and sciences at the Plaza Learning Center. In 2000, our team (#083) reached the finals in the New Mexico High School Supercomputing Challenge.
I also tutor individual high school students in mathematics and answer math questions by email. My personal approach in teaching mathematics is to show people the tools that they already use and can learn to use every day. I help people discover and enhance their natural abilities, and I help them identify and release the blocks in their perception of their capabilities.
I have developed a couple of on-line tools that may help students with division concepts. One is a Javascript demonstration of a prime number sieve. The other is a Java applet for converting between fractions and decimals.
