Purpose, Fees, and Registration

As a member, you support Renesan’s purposes:

You must be a member to register for classes and trips. Dues are $20 per person per academic year. You may register by mailing the registration form with payment or at the Autumn Kick-off on Wednesday, September 1, 2010. You may print the registration form on our website www.renesan.org and mail it with payment. Payment is by cash or check only.

Class fees are $7.00 per session and $9.00 per session for classes limited to 20 or fewer students.

There is no membership card and Renesan does not confirm registrations.

You will be notified only if you do not get into a class or trip you requested.

If you have paid dues since April 1, 2009, you do not owe dues for the Spring semester. If you pay dues that you do not owe, you will receive a credit voucher.

Lecture fees are $7 for members, $10 for non-members. Please do not send lecture fees with registration – these are pay-at-the-door events.

Course withdrawal before or after classes start: A full refund or credit will be given if members withdraw 15 days or earlier from a class. If withdrawal is 8-14 days before class begins, the Registrar will issue a credit voucher or refund for the amount paid minus an $8 processing fee. If members withdraw 7 days before class begins, credit vouchers or refunds will be issued minus a $15 processing fee. Refunds will not be made after the start of classes. No partial refunds will be given to those who sign up late and miss the first class(es).

Trip withdrawal: A full refund or credit will be given if members withdraw 15 days or earlier from a trip. Members who withdraw from a trip 8-14 days before the trip takes place will be credited for 50% of the cost of the trip. No refund or credit will be given to members who withdraw seven days or less before the trip takes place. If, however, Renesan can fill the places, members will then receive full credit or a refund.

If Renesan cancels a course: Credit vouchers or refunds will be issued.

Class size: Some courses have enrollment limits. All registrations are taken in order of postmark. If your registration includes a class or trip that is full, you will be called and asked if you wish to be on the wait list, to receive a credit voucher or refund, or to apply the amount to an alternate class or trip.

Required text: Text books will be available as listed in the course description. If the course description says recommended text, please purchase it.

Snow: St. John's will follow Santa Fe school closings, so classes will be canceled with make-up sessions scheduled, if possible. No fee adjustment will be made for canceled classes. For information on Santa Fe Public School Closures, go to www.sfps.info. See also:

Parking: Parking on the Old Pecos Trail side of the Church (front) is only allowed in the spaces facing Old Pecos Trail except for handicapped parking which is provided in designated spaces. Additional parking is available on the Cordova Road side of the Church.
