Did you know Santa Fe has one of five federally funded colleges for Native Americans in the country? The Institute for American Indian Arts (IAIA), once connected to the Santa Fe Indian School, now has an expanding campus in Rancho Viejo. On this tour we will speak with President Robert Martin and Dean Ann Filmyr. We will then tour the facilities including art studios and the new Science and Technology Building with its digital dome. We will have a chance to meet with some students to discuss their work and experiences of IAIA and complete the tour with a gourmet lunch in their cafeteria.
