In the New Deal, there were many more programs besides the WPA which meant a diverse group of people were involved around the state. What were these programs and who participated in them? Are they still helping us today? If not, would it be a good idea to reinstitute some of them today?
Kathy Flynn is a leader of the New Deal Legacy, a national group founded to promote the identification, documentation, preservation, and education of people about the New Deal's visual and performing arts, humanities, and environmental projects.
