PLEASE NOTE that this is a time change. A vote will be taken at the meeting as to whether to keep the new 11:00 meeting time or revert to the previous 1:00 pm time. You may send your proxy votes to any voting member (including President Bethany Korp-Edwards bkedwards@runningdogtranslations.com) for presentation at the meeting.

* One-hour presentation by Esther Yazzie-Lewis, Federally Certified Navajo Court Interpreter, on the certification process for Navajo court interpreters (ATA continuing ed credit pending)

* Update on planning for the 2010 New Mexico Interpreters Conference (October 15-17), sponsored by the NM Administrative Office of the Courts, NMTIA, the El Paso Translators and Interpreters Association, University of New Mexico Hospitals, and Community Outreach Program for the Deaf

* Update on the Justice System Interpreter Resource Partnership

From Louisiana and I-40 go north on Louisiana, past Indian School and turn left on Uptown (there's no traffic light at that intersection). Go past Americas Parkway and turn left into the parking lot of the City Centre. Park in front of the buildings (visitors' spaces are marked) and enter going up the ramp. The security guard will be able to direct you if needed.
