The Mesilla Valley Audubon Society (MVAS) is a chapter of the National Audubon Society. MVAS is a conservation and natural history organization based in southern New Mexico. Our objectives are to promote appreciation and conservation of birds, other wildlife, and their habitats through environmental education, issue advocacy and natural history experiences.

Find out about our monthly field trips. We offer half day, full day and multi-day field trips for all levels of birders, beginner through expert. Please join us on our next field trip.

From September through April we host monthly programs on birds, wildlife and other conservation and environmental subjects.

Our Education area highlights the ongoing mission of environmental education for children and adults.
