LANDSAT image from the USGS, once available on their
National Geospatial
Data Clearinghouse's page of sample digital products.
It's not surprising they chose this image as their sample, given how
remarkably clear and informative it is. Lucky for us, it covers our own
neighborhood. Lately the image disappeared from the web, but we were
able to find an archived version in The Wayback Machine, and have saved
a local copy at the link above. The newly established
Valles Caldera
National Preserve lies
a little to right of center of this image.The Santa Fe environs at full scale.
