ANNUAL PRAYER PILGRIMAGE FOR PEACE FROM
CHIMAYO TO LOS ALAMOS
Wear comfortable shoes, clothing for
various types of weather,
bring a sack lunch, and bread from your
culture/faith tradition to share
at the Interfaith Bread Service.
Bus ride available from Albuquerque to
Chimayo to Los Alamos.
$15 per person. Bus will leave from old
APS parking lot 725 University SE,
at 6:30 a.m. for the trip to Chimayo, and
return at 6:00 p.m.
PROGRAM
8:00 a.m. Blessing and sending off
runners
Mass at Holy Family Parish, Chimayo
10:00 a.m. Three Mile Walk to the
Santuario
11:30 a.m. Interfaith Bread Ceremony
1:00 p.m. Thirty mile Car Caravan
to Los Alamos
2:00 p.m Closing at Ashley Pond
Park with speakers, music and a Native Blessing Ceremony.
