     This site is a "work in progress", designed to give access and orientation to the art and work of Mark Rendleman, a.k.a. MER.

Although primarily known for his work in the Fine Arts, such as painting, drawing, film and video, he is most recently known for his earthwork project commonly called "The Caves" which has developed into an extensive underground Art Museum, containing the work of many talented and provocative artists.

Mark has also worked extensively in designing and building houses and other structures and also considers landscaping and natural environmental design some of his favorite artistic activities. Mark is a father and a teacher and devotes a great deal of his time and resources to charities that support the future of the planet.
